JAK inhibitors assure hair regrowth in patients with Alopecia

During recent findings from Columbia University, scientists were able to identify the specific immune cell and the dominant inflammatory that are responsible for attacking hair follicles in patients with Alopecia areata. JAK inhibitors are what awaken these follicles. During a recent experiment, 77% of those patients who responded to the inhibitors, achieved hair re-growth over 95%. Follow the link to see what Angela M. Christiano, Professor of Dermatology figured out and why she’s not stopping there.
