Day 3 of the 8th Annual Locks of Love Summer Camp!

On Day 3, the recipients and their parents took a tour of the “Locks of Love” Headquarters!

They also got to explore our “head garden” which is where their head-foam and fit caps are stored. The head-foam mold serves as the head block for the custom vacuum fitted hairpiece. From the head block, a trial “fit cap” is made. This is sent to the child to try on in order to make sure it fits and the plaster mold was done correctly. Once the fit cap is approved, the child chooses the color and length of hair they would like as well as their skin tone color.
