Dear Locks of Love Board of Directors, Administration and Staff,
Please forgive me for not sending this sooner. I have struggled with finding words to sufficiently thank you for inviting us to your camp last June. I wanted to let each one of you know that you all hold a special place in our hearts for all you do on a daily basis for our young people with hair loss, but especially for what you did for us during camp week. The flight, the royal welcome we received at the opulent Eau Hotel, the trip to the zoo, the day at the marina, the henna tattoos, the delicious meals, the beautiful rooms, and all the additional amenities and gifts were above and beyond anything we could have dreamed. Baylee has worn her necklace every day and she isn’t even a jewelry girl. More importantly, thank you for giving me a new, happier version of Baylee. I looked at her while we were riding to the restaurant after the marina and said, “Who are you and what have you done with Baylee?” LOL camp had an extraordinary impact on her self-esteem and her outlook for her future. You just can’t imagine the positive change we have seen in her. I also want to thank you for bringing these girls who walk the same path of hair loss together. Baylee now knows she is not alone and has made lasting friendships. The opportunity to share and learn from other parents was also very meaningful and supportive. It’s great to know that when Baylee or I have had a bad experience related to alopecia, we now have friends we can reach out to who know what we are going through. I just can’t express the depth of my gratitude adequately. Please know you are appreciated deeply and we are eternally indebted to you for all you’ve done and continue to do to improve the quality of Baylee’s Life
With great fondness and gratitude,
Rhonda Kelly and Baylee too!
